About the Champion Schools Program

The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey would like to congratulate the 59 New Jersey high schools chosen to be part of our 5th Annual U Got Brains Champion Schools Program for the 2014-2015 school year. We are excited to be embarking on our 5th year of working with high schools throughout the state to help them develop teen driving safety programs for their schools. The success of the statewide Champion Schools Program over the past four years speaks to the ingenuity, skill, and leadership abilities of New Jersey’s youth. The students participating in the Champion Schools Program have benefited from the opportunity to bring their voices together in community service to address the number one cause of death and disability in teens – motor vehicle crashes.

We are proud to be working with the following high schools around New Jersey this year, representing 16 counties throughout the state. We are especially proud of those returning schools that have shown a commitment to building a culture of teen driving safety within their high schools over the years. Welcome to all of the new schools that are joining us for the first time – we are happy to have you join us!

What is the U Got Brains Champion Schools Program?

It is an opportunity for students and staff of New Jersey high schools to develop campaigns to address teen driving safety. Each school will develop its own project based on a topic pertaining to teen driving safety. We are looking for creative projects that will raise awareness and make an impact on new drivers. You can utilize social media, videos, blogs, traditional media or other means to help spread your message. Your imagination is the only limit!

There are just a few rules – so read them carefully!
